Recruitment of a control group
Who can participate?
Healthy 3-year-old children
Born at term (> 37 weeks of pregnancy)
Mother tongue: French
This project uses cerebral imaging (NIRS) and also includes a developmental assessment.
Why participate? Following the assessment, you will receive a short report on your child’s development. Financial compensation is also provided for your time with us.

Development of Functional Cerebral Networks for Language from Birth to Three Years of Age
Who can participate?
Pregnant women in their last trimester of pregnancy without major complications
Language spoken at home: French
This project uses cerebral imaging (NIRS) and also includes a cognitive developmental assessment.
* This project will involve your infant’s participation after birth. If you are interested, you can also take part in the prenatal listening of stories.
Why participate?
Following some of the assessments, you will receive a short report on your child’s development. Financial compensation is also provided for the time you will allocate.
