Predictive Cerebral Markers of Cognitive and Motor Deficits in Children with Congenital Heart Disease

Recruitment of a control group

Who can participate?

  • Healthy children 4 months of age or less
  • Born at term (> 37 weeks of pregnancy)
  • Mother tongue: French

This project uses cerebral imaging (NIRS) and also includes a developmental assessment.

Why participate?
Following the assessment, you will receive a short report on your child’s development. Financial compensation is also provided for your time with us.

Epilepsy

Cerebral Reorganization of Language Networks in Children with Epilepsy

Recruitment of a control group

Who can participate?

  • Healthy children from 6 to 18 years of age
  • Mother tongue: French

This project uses cerebral imaging (NIRS and EEG) and also includes a cognitive assessment.

Typical Neurodevelopment

Development of Functional Cerebral Networks for Language from Birth to Three Years of Age

Who can participate?

  • Pregnant women in their last trimester of pregnancy without major complications
  • Language spoken at home: French

This project uses cerebral imaging (NIRS) and also includes a cognitive developmental assessment.

* This project will involve your infant’s participation after birth. If you are interested, you can also take part in the prenatal listening of stories.

Why participate?
Following some of the assessments, you will receive a short report on your child’s development. Financial compensation is also provided for the time you will allocate.
