Congratulations to our team!

We are thrilled to announce that we have secured funding for the project titled Lifespan Brain Health Trajectories in Congenital Heart Disease: The Role of Sex & Gender, which will run from 2024 to 2029. This project is supported by the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada (HSFC), Brain Canada, and the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR). We are excited to co-lead this initiative with Thalia Field, a researcher at the Djavad Mowafaghian Centre for Brain Health and an associate professor in the Division of Neurology at the University of British Columbia (UBC). We look forward to collaborating to advance research on brain health throughout the lives of patients with congenital heart disease.

Sarah’s presentation was ranked third among 2800 abstracts presented during the congress by world-renowned experts in the field.
